Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to lead Lara Croft through new levels in the second installment of the Tomb Raider series. The first game was a achievement, this game is a masterpiece. The Fiama Nera (the Black Flame) are out on the prowl in search of the mythical Dagger of Xian and you must retrieve it before they do.
The graphics are a major improvement over the first game. Instead of walking around in dull tombs, you can hang in the streets of Venice or take a stroll on a Offshore Rig. The Flares, which are specially suited for the tombs, are an incredible touch that give off a nice light effect in the dimmest of spots. The Polygons got a nice boost as Lara is even more "detailed" than she was in the last game. The levels have their own excellent detail and look amazingly realistic.

The Sound is about the same, but there are also an added bonus of new sound effects like the sound of Glass shattering from being shot. The Music has been given a nice boost with even more tantalizing tunes!
The Gameplay is stunning. If you found yourself hooked to Tomb Raider 1, wait until you play the second game! Lara will keep you wanting to play more as you scour every singel level for every single secret and every level for every single weapon. There's a lot of stuff in there! The Tomb is still open and now is your chance to own one of the best games of all time. C'mon, Lara's waiting for you.
