[The Nerdmonkey does not approve of this violence]Okay, when I first saw this game (which is technically my Dad's) I thought "oh great, some game with a chick exploring tombs". Of course, my attitude soon changed to "Oh Boy! Some chick exploring tombs and looking fiiiiine!" The heroine of the game, Lara Croft, has become to mascot of all Playstation games starring a woman and the #1 pin-up video game female in all guys' closets across America... and I am proudly one of those guys, hehe.

[Die T-Rex that was so well hidden in an ancient Incan Temple for millions of years, die!]The Graphics feature some awesome Playstation style polygons with a nice touch by Core. The animals and mummies look strangely realistic even though up close they look like a mash of Polygons. The CGI movies are stunning, they are fluidy and give a nice touch to the story. Even Lara's uh... assets give her a nice touch.

The sound is stunning. Just fire your pistols for a good idea of the excellent Sound FX. The music is wonderful, because it gives a great touch to the Tombs and abysses that plauge Lara's world. The Monsters make that goddamn scariest noises you have probably ever heard in a video game. The sound of a Mummy will send you running for cover!

Overall, Tomb Raider is one of the best games I have ever played in my life. The Gameplay and encompassing story will keep you glued to you PSX as you find yourself unable to pull away from the TV as you scour the four ancient civilizations of the Inca, Romans, and Egyptians just to make it to the Great Pyramid with the three Scions. The story will eventuallys tun you as new developments are to be had. I strongly suggest you buy this game if you haven't yet experienced the wonder that is Lara Croft.
