Before I start ranting, please note that I am not referring to the people of the Middle East, I'm talking about the governments of that region.

Recently, the Prime Minister of Italy, Silvio Berlusconi, said "[w]e must be aware of the superiority of our civilisation, a system that has guaranteed well-being, respect for human rights and - in contrast with Islamic countries - respect for religious and political rights".

The Arab League collectively shit itself when they heard this. I personally on the other hand agree. If you could show me one Arab nation that gives full political and religious freedom, then I can show you two western nations. It simply is the truth, the governments of the west are the superior civilization. They promote freedom and justice while the Arab nations rule with fear and "divine" will.

The nations of the West have extended the life of a human being by decades, they have sent men on the moon. Who was the last Iraqi in space? There never has been one. The only way the Arab nations get technology is because they bought it from the Soviet Union when it was collapsing.

Hurrah Arabia, you truly do rule the world.
